Michael Levine, the inventor and creator of The Butterfly™, has devoted his life to providing and maintaining high quality food service. His family has been in the restaurant business since 1938 and currently run Monty's Prime Steak and Seafood in Woodland Hills, California.
Michael’s idea for The Butterfly™ stemmed from a problem within the restaurant, “suddenly the wine bottles were being produced with screw-tops instead of cork. My customers were unhappy with the presentation of a non-cork wine bottle, it just wasn’t the same.”
Since Monty’s is known for their extensive wine lists, something had to be done quickly. Mr. Levine came up with The Butterfly™, which allows any restaurateur a traditional wine presentation.
